What is Sales Quota Tracker?
The Sales Quota Tracker is a free online tool that shows how close you are to hitting your sales target and what it will take to get there. You enter your quota amount, your current sales, the period (monthly, quarterly, or yearly), and the days remaining, and the tool instantly returns your quota attainment percentage, the amount still remaining, the daily target needed, and your projected run rate. It also reports the gap to quota, the required per-week run rate, your projected end-of-period total, and a pace status badge — on track, ahead, or behind — that compares how much of the period has elapsed against how much of the quota you have closed. A currency selector lets you work in USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, INR, AED, or SAR, and an optional team / product roll-up table lets you add multiple reps or products that combine into one team total. Everything runs in your browser with no signup, making it a fast daily companion for reps and managers tracking progress toward goals.
How to use Sales Quota Tracker?
Tracking your quota takes only seconds and runs entirely in your browser:
- 1 Pick your Currency, then set your Quota Amount and enter your Current Sales achieved so far in the period. These two numbers drive your attainment percentage.
- 2 Choose the Period — monthly, quarterly, or yearly — and enter the Days Remaining. The period and time left determine the days elapsed, daily and weekly targets, and the run-rate projection.
-
3
Review your metrics. The tool shows
Quota Attainment, the Remaining and Gap to Quota, the Daily and Weekly targets you must average, your Run Rate, your Projected Total and projected attainment, plus a pace status badge and a marker showing how far the period has elapsed. - 4 Optionally open the Team / Product Roll-Up, add a row per rep or product with its quota and current sales, then tick Use roll-up totals to combine them into the headline numbers.
- 5 Read the Insights. The tool tells you how far through the period you are, where your pace will land you, how much to close per week to catch up, or to focus on closing active deals in the final week.
Why use this tool?
Quota attainment is the single number that defines a sales rep's success, yet many only check it at month end when it is too late to react. This tracker turns quota into a living daily metric. By converting the gap into concrete daily and weekly targets and projecting your run rate forward, it tells you today whether your current pace will land you above or below target, so you can adjust effort before the period closes. The pace status compares time elapsed against quota closed, so a high attainment late in the period is honestly flagged as behind rather than celebrated. Sales managers can switch on the roll-up to combine several reps or product lines into one team view and coach the pace in one-on-ones, while the currency selector keeps the numbers readable for any market. Because it is private and browser-based, no sales figures leave your device. It replaces guesswork with a clear, honest progress signal.
Examples
With a 100,000 quota and 70,000 closed at 70% of the period elapsed, the run rate projects you will finish around 100,000, the pace badge reads on track, and the insight confirms you are matching the clock.
At 40% attainment with half the period gone, the tool shows a higher daily and weekly target, a projected total below quota, and a behind-pace badge so you know to lift effort now.
Add three reps — say 40,000, 30,000 and 30,000 quotas — tick Use roll-up totals, and the headline attainment, gap, and projection are recalculated against the combined 100,000 team quota.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Sales Quota Tracker free to use?
Yes. The tracker is completely free with no signup, no limits, and no account required. You can update it as often as you like.
What is run rate?
Run rate is your projected end-of-period total based on your current sales pace. If you keep selling at the same rate, the run rate estimates where you will finish relative to quota, which the tool also shows as a projected attainment percentage.
How is the daily and weekly target calculated?
The daily target is the remaining amount divided by the days remaining; the weekly target is the remaining amount divided by the weeks remaining (days remaining ÷ 7). Both tell you the average you must close to hit quota.
What does the pace status badge mean?
It compares how much of the period has elapsed with your projected attainment. If your pace projects to roughly meet or beat quota you are on track or ahead; if it projects short you are behind, even when raw attainment looks high.
Can I track a whole team or several products?
Yes. Open the optional roll-up table, add a row per rep or product with its quota and current sales, and tick Use roll-up totals. Their numbers combine into one team total that drives all the headline metrics.
Can I use a currency other than US dollars?
Yes. Use the currency selector to switch between USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, INR, AED, or SAR. The symbol applies to every monetary output on the page.
Are my sales numbers stored anywhere?
No. All calculations run locally in your browser, so your quota and sales figures are never uploaded to or stored on a server.
