Pipeline Value Calculator
Calculate weighted pipeline value by stage probability
What is Pipeline Value Calculator?
The Pipeline Value Calculator is a free online tool that turns a raw list of open deals into a realistic, probability-weighted forecast. Total pipeline value alone is misleading because not every deal closes. For each deal you pick a pipeline stage — Lead, Qualified, Proposal, Negotiation, or Closing — and the tool fills in a sensible default win probability (10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 90%) that you can override per deal. It multiplies each deal's value by its probability to produce a weighted value that reflects what you can actually expect to win. You get the total raw pipeline, the weighted total, expected revenue, a value-weighted average win probability, your open-deal count, plus two breakdowns: one aggregated by stage and one per deal. A built-in currency selector (USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SAR, INR, and more) formats every figure in your own currency. Everything runs in your browser with no signup, giving reps and managers a fast, honest read on pipeline health.
How to use Pipeline Value Calculator?
Calculating weighted pipeline takes only a moment and runs entirely in your browser:
- 1 Pick your Currency at the top so every total, breakdown, and expected-revenue figure is formatted in the right currency symbol.
-
2
Add each open deal. Enter a Deal / Stage Name, choose a Stage (Lead, Qualified, Proposal, Negotiation, or Closing) to auto-fill its default win
Probability, and type the Deal Value. Override the probability anytime — the stage flips to Custom automatically. - 3 Use Add Stage to include every open deal in your funnel. Adjust the default probabilities to match your own historical win rates so each stage reflects how often deals at that point actually close.
- 4 Read the headline results — Total Pipeline, Weighted Value, Expected Revenue, Avg. Win Probability, and Open Deals — then review the Breakdown by Stage (deal count, raw and weighted value per stage) and the per-deal list to see exactly where your forecast comes from.
Why use this tool?
A pipeline that looks huge can still miss target if most of its value sits in early, low-probability stages. Weighting by probability cuts through that illusion and shows the revenue you can realistically commit to. The stage presets — Lead 10%, Qualified 25%, Proposal 50%, Negotiation 75%, Closing 90% — give you industry-standard defaults instantly, while the per-deal override keeps each forecast as precise as your own data allows. The breakdown by stage shows where value is concentrated, so you can tell at a glance whether your pipeline is too thin, too back-loaded, or healthy. This calculator helps reps build credible forecasts, helps managers spot coverage gaps, and helps leadership plan resourcing against expected revenue rather than wishful totals. Because probabilities come from your own win rates and the currency matches your market, the forecast stays both accurate and easy to read. It runs privately in your browser, so no deal data is uploaded anywhere. Used weekly, it keeps your forecast grounded in reality and exposes gaps early enough to act on them.
Examples
A deal in the Proposal stage worth 200,000 at a 50% default probability returns a weighted value of 100,000 — the amount you can realistically expect from it. Drop the probability to 40% and the weighted value falls to 80,000.
Deals tagged Qualified, Proposal, and Negotiation pick up 25%, 50%, and 75% defaults, are each weighted, and summed into a single trustworthy Expected Revenue figure — in your chosen currency.
Grouping deals by stage shows a large raw total weighted down to a small figure because most value sits in Lead and Qualified, prompting a push to advance deals toward Closing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Pipeline Value Calculator free to use?
Yes. The tool is completely free with no signup, no limits, and no account required. You can model as many deals and pipelines as you like.
What is weighted pipeline value?
Weighted pipeline value is each deal's value multiplied by its probability of closing. Summing these across all deals gives an Expected Revenue figure that reflects realistic forecast, not just the raw total.
What are the default stage probabilities?
Selecting a stage auto-fills a default win probability: Lead 10%, Qualified 25%, Proposal 50%, Negotiation 75%, and Closing 90%. You can override any of them, which switches that deal to a Custom stage.
Can I change the currency?
Yes. A currency selector at the top supports USD, EUR, GBP, AED, SAR, INR, CAD, AUD, JPY, and CHF, and every total and breakdown is formatted with the matching symbol.
How is average win probability calculated?
It is value-weighted: the weighted total divided by the raw total pipeline. This avoids skew from small or zero-value deals and reflects the probability your actual money is exposed to.
Is my deal data stored anywhere?
No. All calculations happen locally in your browser, so your deal values and probabilities are never uploaded to or stored on a server.
